Cogent Provides Plant-wide System Integration to 750,000 T/Yr Pellet Plant in Georgia
Cogent provided plant-wide system integration and process optimization services to Georgia Biomass, the world’s largest biomass pellet plant. In addition, Cogent deployed a real-time Operational Performance Management system that enabled Georgia Biomass to reduce ramp-up time of the plant, expand operational visibility and make informed decisions in real-time.
Cogent Delivers Plant-wide System Integration to 200,000T/Yr Pellet Plant in Lavington, BC
Cogent has successfully designed and deployed plant-wide electrical, automation and controls for the Lavington Pellet Limited Partnership’s new wood pellet facility in Lavington, BC. Additionally, Cogent provided on-site support to help the plant achieve a quick ramp-up to full production and smooth transition to operation.
Cogent Provides Plant-wide System Integration to 600,000T/Yr Pellet Plant in Hamlet, North Carolina
Cogent initially worked on the plant’s Dryer Island System Controls while still under construction. A year later Cogent completed work on the Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) while the plant was operating. The pellets produced in Hamlet will be shipped overseas to Europe and Asia to satisfy the global demand for wood biomass pellets.
